The article analyzes the textbooks "Russian language" Z.K. Sabitova and O.B. Altynbekova for grade 10, Z.K. Sabitova and A.R. Beisembaev for the 11th grade of a secondary school with the Russian language of instruction (natural and mathematical direction) on the subject of the representation in them of a system of tasks for developing the skills of written textual activity. The analysis was carried out in the following areas: the quantitative ratio of exercises and the principles of constructing a system of tasks for creative and creative writing, a system of genres of creative written works. In addition, an attempt was made to model the system of exercises in the analyzed textbooks, and recommendations were given to teachers to improve the efficiency of working with the textbook. Conclusions are drawn about the possibilities of using school textbooks of the Mektep publishing house as the main means of teaching creative and creative writing in high school.
