POLITICAL DISCOURSE: DEFINITION, TYPOLOGY AND STYLISTIC FEATURES

The article analyzes the problem of political discourse, its impact on modern socio-cultural practice. Discourse is considered into several types depending on the scope of its application. In particular, the concept of political discourse is differentiated, the concept of broad and narrow is described. Broad sense is a set of discursive practices and speech work in a certain paralinguistic context that define the participants of political discourse and form a certain topic of political communication, the addressee or knowledge of any speech, the content of which is in the field of politics. A narrow meaning is a class of genres limited by politics. The opinions of researchers on political discourse were analyzed and the scope of application was determined. The analysis of the typology of political discourse is carried out. Based on the classification of political discourse, the 2015 New Year's address of German Chancellor Angela Merkel was taken to study its stylistic features. Several stylistic features of political discourse were identified: linguistic, extralinguistic and grammatical. Depending on the type, the language data was given.
