The article is an attempt of psycholinguistic and cognitive-discursive assessment of the perception of the image of Kazakhstan by Kazakhstani youth. The relevance of the study is conditioned by the need to study the value orientation of young people, their ability to preserve national-cultural and personal self-identification in the context of expanding globalization and various internal and external processes taking place in the country. The results of the research allowed us to determine the attitude of Kazakhstani youth to their country, to assess its importance in their lives, readiness to link their future with it and to build the trajectory of their personal and professional development. In the process of data analysis, MAXQDA software was applied, designed for automated data analysis and output of qualitative, quantitative and combined results of the processed information.
