GENRE TRANSFORMATION OF GENEALOGICAL DISCOURSE IN POST-SOVIET KAZAKH PROSE

Abstract

The article examines the genre transformation of the genealogical tradition in Kazakh prose during the post-Soviet period. In the course of the study, the concept of genealogy, which remains a primary object of humanitarian research, manifests through various meanings across historical, cultural, and literary perspectives. The application of historical-poetic, narratological, interpretative, and cultural-semiotic analysis methods facilitates a comprehensive study of the genealogical concept within the framework of literary criticism. The genre transformation of genealogy in contemporary Kazakh prose is analyzed through the works of A. Kemelbayeva. The primary objective of the research is to identify the transformation of the genealogical tradition in the post-Soviet era within the context of national memory and cultural integrity. The study was conducted in three directions: the narratological aspect to define the specifics of narration, the chronotopic aspect to examine the representations of sacred spaces.
