The article is devoted to the identification, systematization, and in-depth analysis of autobiographical strategies in the художественная prose of the Kazakhstani-Russian writer Anatoly Kim. The author’s works have repeatedly become the subject of scholarly interpretation in the context of philosophical and artistic concepts, issues of cultural and personal identity, as well as intertextual connections with the traditions of world literature. Nevertheless, despite the considerable number of existing studies, contemporary literary criticism still lacks a comprehensive and holistic analysis of autobiographical motifs, especially in the writer’s later novels. This determines the scientific novelty and relevance of the present study.
The research demonstrates that Anatoly Kim uses autobiographism not as a means of documentary fixation of biographical facts, but as a complex artistic strategy aimed at comprehending and constructing personal identity. This strategy combines the author’s individual experience with broader cultural, historical, philosophical, and religious contexts.
