This article examines the phraseological unit “yaşa dolmaq” (to grow up, to reach maturity, to attain a certain age) as a multilayered linguistic phenomenon manifesting in various contexts—linguistic, legal, psychological, and cultural. The study aims to identify the semantic structure of the expression, its cognitive and metaphorical components, and to analyze the ways it functions in both professional and everyday communication. Particular attention is given to the psychological aspect, where the phraseological unit reflects the process of personality development, maturation, and acquisition of social experience. In the legal context, “yaşa dolmaq” is interpreted as indicating the attainment of a specific age, which entails the acquisition of rights and responsibilities, as well as a change in social status
