The article examines the linguistic representation of the concept of "hospitality" in the Kazakh mentality. In the lexical system of every language, there are words that reflect the national characteristics of its people. To identify these features, the concept of "hospitality" was chosen as the object of study. Through the analysis of linguistic units, its place and significance in the system of spiritual and cultural values of the Kazakh people are revealed, and the features of the national mentality are determined through its linguistic representation.
The aim of the article is to determine how the concept of "hospitality" manifests in the national consciousness and worldview of the Kazakh people and how it is reflected in linguistic data. Hospitality, as one of the main moral norms in the consciousness of the Kazakh people, has for centuries made a significant contribution to the formation of Kazakh culture.
