Abstract

The article analyzes scientific works related to one of the new areas of linguistics – the area of cognitive linguistics. The increase in the number of publications in the Scopus database from 2000 to 2023 confirms the relevance of the proposed topic. The purpose of the research is to analyze trends and directions in the field of cognitive linguistics based on a systematic review of 4650 scientific articles. The research methodology includes data collection and analysis using SPSS to determine the dynamics of publication growth, as well as geographic and industry distribution.

The theoretical significance lies in the expansion of knowledge about the cognitive aspects of language and the formation of the multi-profile character of this area. The practical significance is manifested in its contribution to the development of inclusive language practices and the formation of deeper knowledge about cognitive problems in linguistics.
