The article discusses the issue of keywords in schoolchildren's scientific projects. The author substantiates the position on the importance of keywords in the structure of a scientific text. The scientific project of schoolchildren as a genre of scientific and educational substyle must meet all the requirements for texts of this type, including the requirement for the correct selection of key words. When analyzing the texts of schoolchildren's scientific projects, the author uses the method of frequency analysis and a method of content analysis such as lemmatization. In the course of this work, he comes to the conclusion that schoolchildren authors of projects correctly use keywords in their scientific projects, and keywords are reflected in the goals of the project, which indicates understanding of the scientific text. To successfully implement scientific-projects, students need to master a number of skills, including mastery of scientific style.
