Abstract

The article examines the features of the traditional vocabulary use of the Kazakh language, their changes at different levels of the language – phonetic, orthographic, morphological and syntactic. In order to answer the questions about changes and peculiarities of the use of the traditional vocabulary of the Kazakh language, trips were organized to areas where mainly Kazakhs live. The spoken language of the Kazakhs of the older generation was recorded, which was compared with the speech of young people born since 2000 and the speech of people born since the 1970s. As a result of the conducted research, we came to the conclusion that in the oral speech of Kazakhs born in the 1970s, the norms of the written Kazakh language have been preserved, the pronunciation also corresponds to the norms of pronunciation of the written Kazakh language.
