Publication Ethics

The editorial policy of the journal “Til žäne ädebiet: teoriyȃsy men täžìribesì” / “Тіл және әдебиет: теориясы мен тәжірибесі” / “Язык и литература: теория и практика” / “Language and Literature: Theory and Practice” is guided by the traditional ethical principles of scholarly periodicals as set out in the Guidelines on Publication Ethics for Journal Editors of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE: https://publicationethics.org/).

By submitting an article for publication in the journal, the author guarantees that the submitted article is not under consideration for publication in another scholarly outlet. The author is required to properly acknowledge and format all borrowed and/or cited texts, tables, charts, diagrams, and figures. The use of another person’s text, the reproduction of quotations without proper attribution, the modification of the results of other studies, and any form of plagiarism are prohibited. The use of generative AI (artificial intelligence) in articles is regulated by specific rules (https://yazlit.ppu.edu.kz/index.php/new/use_ai). The reliability (originality) level of the text must be at least 75%. In the event that plagiarism is detected, the editorial board reserves the right to reject the article and to refuse the author the opportunity to submit another article.

Authors are expected to treat the work of editors and reviewers with respect and understanding and to address the identified issues in a timely manner.
